I'd like to put in that I enjoyed the hell out of Eureka 7. The kid characters can be a bit annoying but it's a credit to how well they're done that they can be annoying and sympathetic at the same time.
Code Geass season 2 was also ridiculously awesome, much much better than season 1. I also have the DVDs of Gilgamesh that I need to watch at some point. Heard good stuff about that series.

Lupin III (some of them are funny)
Detective Conan Busou Renkin (dumb bleach clone) Tenchi Muyo (harem style romance) Fushigi Yuugi (stupid and pointless) Hellsing (very short though) Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (I don't normally watch gundam but I really enjoyed this one) Outlaw Star (dont watch it dubbed in english) Big O (very short) Yakitate Japan! (really good and funny) I'm currently watching: Gilgamesh Higurashi no Naku Koro ni |

I've been looking for some new shows to dig my teeth into. Is this stuff super cheesy kid anime like DBZ or is it for a more mature audience? I haven't watched a whole lot from this genre, but I did enjoy the likes of Ninja Scroll and Afro Samurai.

Gankutsuou is based on the novel The Count of Monte Cristo, so its story centered around meticulous revenge and deception. Not really for kids

Ugh. I'm at 70% and it's downloading way slower the more of it I download. At this rate I'll be done in like 2 weeks.
